Zara at Plaza Indonesia is still in the sale promo, but some of the windows have already occupied with the new Fall 2011 mannequins wearing the Fall/Winter 2011 collection. Not so creative but still fabulous especially the women dress collection.

The sale season is almost over in some stores and the latest collection whether pre-fall or fall/winter collections are starting to come. Hence, the window display must be changed too. Like we can see in the Mango store at Senayan City where the mannequins appear fresh with new curly shoulder-long wigs and the latest arrival of new collections.

RED Valentino, the secondary (or third ?) and more affordable line of Valentino, is recently opened its first boutique in Jakarta, Indonesia. A small but stylish and chic boutique, dominated with white color on the wall and pastel colors on the clothing sold. The display is witty and unique. Beautiful (because full make up) but hairless and footloose mannequins pose in some actions.

Watch how this French brand styles their mannequins in just simple T-shirts (with sale words in some languages written on it). Also the colorful stickers and papers on the glass window and the ceilings. Fun, attractive, and very communicative.
ck calvin klein, a label from the Calvin Klein fashion brand, is always about simplicity and minimalism in design. White, grey, cream, black, and other natural colors are frequently used. The display also reflects this concept with headless mannequins pose in natural gestures.

Forever 21, a street wear label, dresses its vast window displays with mannequins in many different poses. The good point from these mannequins is the existence of brown-colored mannequins that represent people from different color. Also I give two thumbs up for very excellent styling of outfits and accessories.

Gaudi opens its latest store recently at eX with comic theme on its display. Expression tablets that usually found at comic are used to shows the discount program. While the comic images are used to cover 'A' letter and the display ground. Interesting and unique at the same time.

The sale promo in BCBG Max Azria boutique is still on going. The VM team has an attractive idea to showing the sale promo in a very exclusive way. Not just a red paper showing sale word, instead the mannequin carries a kite with sale word written on it.

For the pre-fall 2011 collection Chanel takes us to the Ottoman empire that ruled Byzantium some centuries ago. This Paris-Byzance collection is rich with details and ornamentation from some of the Chanel artisans. The Chanel boutique in Jakarta has already displayed this collection. The fully carpeted background, Ottoman style pillows, and other inspiration from this infamous Oriental empire. Just go to this boutique and shop for pre-fall collection is somewhat rare and very exclusive.

Metro uses the 2 main problems of Jakarta, flood and over heat, to celebrate this year's Jakarta Great Sale. One window show mannequins in rubber boat with image of water that is raising. Then, other window shows the mannequins wearing hat and sunglasses when the sun is shining brightly and the temperature touches over 30 degrees. The main line of these two concepts is raising the awareness of the customer to care about the Jakarta environment.
