Miuccia Prada is perhaps the most influential designer in the world of fashion. Her designs and creations are the key trend of the season. Designers will look at her and follow her style in the next seasons. Besides her family's heritage brand, Prada, she also created Miu Miu. This younger brand was, at first, the more affordable aspect of the brand, but now it has the same price level with its older sister. Here are some interesting and fabulous Prada and Miu Miu collections displayed in the period of May 14 - 15 in Singapore.

Renovation need was the first thing on my mind when I saw the Missoni boutique at The Shopping Gallery of Hilton Singapore. The boutique has a somber gold colors that look like an old boutique. The window display also has this same type of atmosphere. Gone were the bright colorful image of Missoni stripes and print motifs on my mind. Hope it was not my wrong perception of how should Missoni boutique looks like.
Looking a Dries van Notten window display is like observing a piece of art, a modern one of course. From the mannequin shape, the properties, and of course the outfits displayed, everything is beautiful. Unfortunately I could not photographed the other side of the window.
Both Ermenegildo Zegna and Bulgari window displays are decorated with installations that until now I still don't understand or catch the meaning. At Zegna, there is a halo-like formation of wooden sticks in white color behind the mannequins. While, Bulgari placed two circular installations in each window. This circular thing might look like a lamp or perhaps a fan.
Marc by Marc Jacobs boutique at Terminal 1 of Changi International Airport, Singapore, has an open concept where passengers can easily enter the store without pull or push the door. The window display is almost not exists except for a box filled with pink-colored neon letters. The letters consists all the characters needed to write the MARC JACOBS name. If only it is added with one 'Y' neon letter then this box is a complete letter play to write MARC BY MARC JACOBS.
There are two cute sofas, toys, dolls, and other children stuffs under a tree. This scenery is part of Cotonnier window display at Plaza Indonesia. The VM team of this new renovated children boutique excellently designed all the properties. Look at the big trunk of tree that is composed from sheets of leather formed into leaves or flower shape. Also the deer head decorations that come in colorful motifs to create a cheerful atmosphere.
A yellow building, pink cloud, and green tree become a beautiful background for Warehouse window display. The drawing style of the images is like what children will do, but of course in more smooth and sophisticated form.
Raoul is the first boutique to dress its window display with Pre-Fall 2012 collection and concept. The most obvious things can be seen are the white paper hays and a little pony horse. Look closer at this horse and you can find that its body has the same motif with one of the dress' motif worn by the mannequin.
